MOSCOW. Aug 31 (Interfax) - A drone attack this morning caused no casualties or destruction in the Voskresensk district of the Moscow region, the district's head Alexei Malkin said on Thursday.
"No traces of destruction have been discovered thus far. No one was injured. All emergency services are working at the scene," Malkin said on his Telegram channel.
Services are inspecting a nearby forest and water reservoirs, he said, adding that al necessary measures are being taken to establish the circumstances of the incident.
Russian air defenses shot down a Ukrainian drone over the Voskresensk district in the Moscow region, the Russian Defense Ministry said earlier in the day.
"On-duty air defenses destroyed the unmanned aerial vehicle over the Voskresensk district of the Moscow region," the ministry said.
