YEREVAN. Sept 4 (Interfax) - Baku has not yet responded to Yerevan's new proposals on a peace agreement, and Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia have still not agreed on a new meeting between their deputy prime ministers, Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan said.
"Azerbaijan has not yet responded to our new proposals," Grigoryan told journalists on Monday.
Nor have Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia agreed on a new meeting between their deputy prime ministers within the framework of a commission on unblocking regional infrastructure, he said.
"Some issues have been discussed at the level of working contacts, but this work requires the proper environment. What kind of unblocking [can be discussed] in the absence of stability and peace? The unblocking is also a peace process, and it has to proceed against a peaceful backdrop," Grigoryan said.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on August 24 that Yerevan had conveyed its new proposals on a peace treaty to Baku.
