U.S.-led coalition commits 31 violations in Syrian airspace in past 24 hours - Russian military

MOSCOW. Sept 5 (Interfax) - Russian military has observed 17 violations of the Syrian airspace in the al-Tanf area in the past 24 hours, deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria Vadim Kulit said on Tuesday.

"Al-Tanf saw 17 violations by a pair of F-35 fighter jets, three pairs of F-16 fighter jets, a pair of Rafale fighter jets, two pairs of Typhoon fighter jets, and three MQ-1C multirole unmanned aerial vehicles of the coalition over the past day," Kulit said.

The coalition committed 14 violations of the deconfliction protocols dated December 9, 2019, by drone flights uncoordinated with Russia, he said.
