MOSCOW. Sept 6 (Interfax) - Further U.S. financial assistance to Kiev, which U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken is expected to announce during his current visit to Ukraine, will have no effect on the progress of the special military operation, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"This cannot influence progress of the special military operation," Peskov told reporters in response to a related question.
"We have heard numerous declarations of their readiness to continue assisting Kiev for as long as it takes, in other words, they are planning to keep Ukraine practically in a state of war and to fight that war until the last Ukrainian, no matter how much that might cost," Peskov said.
"This is how we see this, we know it," Peskov said, repeating that further assistance would not affect progress of the special military operation.
