ROSTOV-ON-DON. Sept 7 (Interfax) - A number of Ukrainian drones attacked Energodar on Thursday morning, causing damage to a residential building, acting governor of the Zaporozhye region Yevgeny Balitsky said.
"The upper stories of the 14-story building were hit, windows were smashed, and several fires were contained," Balitsky said on Telegram.
There are no casualties and operative services are at work, the authorities said.
Energodar is home to the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, which is the largest nuclear power plant in Europe. The latest strikes on the Zaporozhye NPP grounds were reported in November 2022.
