BRUSSELS. Sept 8 (Interfax) - The Official Journal of the European Union has published a regulation adopted by the Council of the European Union on Friday adding six Russian individuals, suspected by the EU of abuse in Crimea, to "the EU global human rights sanctions regime."
The regulation's appendix names officers of the Federal Security Service and the prosecution service, as well as judges, including those who investigated and conducted the trials of Ukrainian journalist Vladislav Yesipenko and several members of the Crimean Tatar community.
"This Regulation shall enter into force on the date of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union," the statement said.
