Russians who left amid special military operation will start coming home - Peskov

VLADIVOSTOK. Sept 11 (Interfax) - Russians who left amid the special military operation will start coming home as the economic situation changes, but there will hardly be any place in Russia for "enemies of the country," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"As our growing market becomes more attractive against the backdrop of negative economic trends in many countries which those people moved to, they will begin to return," Peskov said in an interview with RBC.

Certain Russians preferred working abroad and looked for more comfortable conditions during a certain period of their life, Peskov said. "This is normal," he added.

"Such people will start coming home, except for those who have turned into enemies of our country. There are such people, too. One should not overstate their number. There will hardly be any place in our homeland for those who have become enemies," he said.
