U.S.-led coalition aircraft commit 24 violations in Syrian airspace in past 24 hours - Russian military

HMEIMIM. Sept 12 (Interfax) - Aircraft of the so-called international antiterrorist coalition led by the United States continue to create dangerous situations in the Syrian airspace, deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria Rear Adm. Vadim Kulit said.

"Fourteen violations of the deconfliction protocols dated December 9, 2019, by the coalition in the form of drone flights uncoordinated with Russia have been recorded over the day," Kulit said at a press briefing on Tuesday.

"The Al-Tanf area saw ten violations by three pairs of F-35 fighter jets, a pair of F-16 fighter jets, and two MQ-1C unmanned aerial vehicles of the coalition in the past 24 hours," Kulit said.
