YEREVAN. Sept 12 (Interfax) - The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Baku's report alleging an Armenian attack on Azerbaijani army positions on the border.
"A statement by the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry claiming that Armenian forces allegedly fired at Azerbaijani positions in the southeastern part of the border between 9:45 a.m. and 10 a.m. on September 12 is untrue," the ministry's press service said.
The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said earlier on Tuesday that the Armenian Armed Forces fired at Azerbaijani positions in the Nakhchivan sector.
It also said that Azerbaijani units returned fire.
