UNSC sanctions should not hinder development of Russia-N. Korea relations - Peskov

MOSCOW. Sept 13 (Interfax) - Russia's stance on the UN Security Council's sanctions on North Korea remains unchanged, but this should not impede the development of bilateral relations, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"Absolutely, Russia's stance at the UN, the Security Council, remains unchanged. However, this cannot and should not hinder further development of Russia-North Korea relations," Peskov said in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin in response to a question about how Russia's support for the Security Council's sanctions on North Korea corresponds to building new relations with Pyongyang.
