Russian, N. Korean leaders didn't discuss plans to deploy N. Korean soldiers on border with Ukraine - Peskov

MOSCOW. Sept 13 (Interfax) - The possibility of "deploying North Korean soldiers" on the border with Ukraine was not discussed during the high-level Russian-North Korean talks, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

"No, this [issue] was not discussed in any way. The discussion was about developing bilateral relations," Peskov told the Rossiya 1 (VGTRK) television channel, when commenting on reports that "nearly 100,000" North Korean soldiers could allegedly be deployed on the border with Ukraine and after being asked whether the sides discussed this issue in any format.
