Rome Statute to be ratified in full - Armenian PM

YEREVAN. Sept 13 (Interfax) - Armenia will ratify the Rome Statute in full, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.

"The government has forwarded the Rome Statute to the parliament, and it will be ratified in full. It has no connection with relations between Armenia and Russia, but is linked to Armenia's security issue," Pashinyan said during a government Q&A session at the parliament.

The Armenian government told Interfax on September 1 that the government had submitted a legislative initiative on Armenia's ratification of the Rome Statute to the parliament.

Armenia signed the Rome Statute in 1998.
