Three Ukrainian naval drones destroyed in Black Sea - Russian Defense Ministry (Part 2)

MOSCOW. Sept 13 (Interfax) - Russian aircraft have destroyed three Ukrainian naval drones in the Black Sea, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"Naval aviation of the Black Sea Fleet identified and destroyed three drone boats of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Black Sea on September 13," the ministry said.

The ministry said on Wednesday morning that two Russian ships were damaged as a result of a Ukrainian cruise missile strike on a shipyard in Sevastopol.

"Last night, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired ten cruise missiles at the Ordzhonikidze Shipyard in Sevastopol and three naval drones hit a unit of the Russian Black Sea Fleet at sea," the ministry said.

"Air defense downed seven cruise missiles, and the Vasily Bykov patrol ship destroyed every naval drone," it said.

"Two ships under repairs were damaged by the enemy's cruise missiles," the ministry said.

The ministry said later that the ships will be restored and continue their combat duties.
