Armenia trying to prevent war by all possible diplomatic methods - Pashinyan

YEREVAN. Sept 13 (Interfax) - Armenia is taking all diplomatic measures to prevent war with Azerbaijan, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.

"What are we doing to prevent war? All possible diplomatic methods are being used for this purpose. This is what we are doing," Pashinyan said during a government Q&A session in parliament.

"Other methods are not discussed from the rostrum of the parliament," he said.

In addition, Armenia made a decision to recognize Azerbaijan's territorial integrity amid a largescale military attack and the allies' keeping silent, he said.

"On October 6, 2022, an agreement was reached that Armenia and Azerbaijan recognize mutual territorial integrity based on the Almaty declaration. Armenia has made this decision in order to protect its territorial integrity. It was made in a situation where Azerbaijan carried out a largescale aggression against Armenia, seized Armenia's territories, and Armenia's allies were silent and did not react. Armenia had to make this decision," he said.
