Russian air defenses down 5 Ukrainian drones over Bryansk region - governor

MOSCOW. Sept 14 (Interfax) - A fifth Ukrainian fixed-wing drone was shot down over the Bryansky district in Russia's Bryansk region overnight, the region's Governor Alexander Bogomaz said.

"The Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to stage another attack using an unmanned aerial vehicle. The air defense forces of the Russian Defense Ministry destroyed a fixed-wing drone over the Bryansky district. There were no casualties or destruction. Operative and emergency services are working at the scene," Bogomaz said on his Telegram channel.

The Russian Defense Ministry said last night that four Ukrainian drones had been neutralized over the Bryansk region. The drones were downed over the Brasovsky and Karachev districts and the Starodub municipal district, Bogomaz said.
