MOSCOW. Sept 15 (Interfax) - Thirty three percent of Russians view the special military operation as the most important event of last week, the Public Opinion Foundation said in a statement on its website on Friday.
Respondents explained their answers in terms of the need to ensure national security and support for special military operation participants, the pollster said.
Regional and municipal elections held on Unified Voting Day and the mitigation of emergencies in a number of regions were also mentioned among main events of the week.
The Public Opinion Foundation polled 1,500 respondents aged 18 and over in 104 communities in 53 regions of Russia on September 7-10, 2023.
