ASTANA. Oct 6 (Interfax) - The Kazakh Armed Forces are participating in the Indestructible Brotherhood 2023 exercise with the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO)'s Collective Peacekeeping Forces, the Kazakh Defense Ministry's press service said.
"The Indestructible Brotherhood 2023 joint exercise with the CSTO Collective Peacekeeping Forces is due to take place at a military training ground of the Kyrgyz Armed Forces' training center in the city of Balykchy on October 6-13, in line with the 2023 joint training plan of the CSTO collective security system's military command, forces and hardware," the press service said.
"Personnel of the Air Assault Forces are representing the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the drills, Kazakh servicemen will deploy using their vehicles and armored hardware from the city of Almaty to the city of Balykchy," it said.
The main goal of the Indestructible Brotherhood 2023 exercise, which also involves military contingents from Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan, is to achieve better cohesion of the CSTO Collective Peacekeeping Forces' military contingents during peacekeeping operations.
