NATO doesn't plan to resume nuclear tests - Stoltenberg

BRUSSELS. Oct 11 (Interfax) - NATO is not going to resume nuclear tests amid reports on Russia's plans to revoke ratification of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT), NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said on Wednesday.

"We have no plans to start testing again," he told a press conference after being asked to comment on Russia's plans regarding the CTBT.

Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov earlier said Russia's revocation of the CTBT ratification did not mean Moscow's intention to conduct nuclear tests.
