Seven Ukrainian missiles downed in Kherson region - authorities

ROSTOV-ON-DON. Nov 1 (Interfax) - Ukrainian missiles targeting Crimea were downed in the Kherson region on Wednesday, governor Vladimir Saldo said.

"Seven missiles fired by enemy planes at Crimea were downed in the Kherson region," Saldo said on Telegram.

Most targets were shot in mid-air, and two detonated on the ground, having fallen on a vacant plot on the Arabat Spit, he said.

There are no casualties or damage, Saldo said.

The missile threat persists, he added.
