MOSCOW. Nov 9 (Interfax) - Russia's Rezky corvette has fired an artillery weapon at coastal targets imitating mock enemy fire positions and strong points during an exercise, the Russian Pacific Fleet's press service said on Thursday.
"The Rezky corvette took an offensive course during the exercise and opened fire with an A-190 artillery system on indirect coastal targets using navigation data and an auxiliary aiming point," the press service said.
The artillery strike was delivered from the Peter the Great Gulf in the Sea of Japan on targets located at a coastal military training range, it said.
"The Rezky corvette continues to carry out combat training tasks at sea in accordance with the fleet's plan," the press service said.
