BELGOROD. Nov 10 (Interfax) - Ukrainian attacks hit Russia's Belgorod region in the past 24 hours, governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said in a statement on Telegram on Friday.
There are no casualties or damage in either of the attacked localities, he said.
"Twenty artillery shells were fired at the Shchetinovka village in the Belgorod district. One bomb was dropped from a drone on the Zhuravlyovka and the Varishkin villages each," Gladkov said.
Two communities were shelled in the Shebekino municipal district, Gladkov said.
"Five mortar shells and two rounds of an SPG-9 Kopye grenade launcher were fired at the Novaya Tavolzhanka village and five mortar shells were fired at the Pankov village," he said.
The outskirts of the Stary village in the Volokonovka district were hit by four mortar shells. There are no casualties, Gladkov said.
The Belgorod region's border areas have sporadically come under attack from Ukraine since February 24, 2022. Civilian casualties have been reported. The region has declared the yellow (high) level of terror alert and a state of emergency in 15 border settlements.
