Russia's Rostec plans to show Il-76-MD-90A heavy transport plane in Dubai

MOSCOW. Nov 10 (Interfax) - Russia's Rostec will present about 200 military, dual-use and civilian products at the Dubai Airshow 2023, the Rostec press service said.

"This year, we will present a number of new products, including a major one, at the event. This is the Ilyushin Il-76MD-90A(E) heavy transport aircraft, which will obviously catch the eye of visitors. A plane of such class will be demonstrated abroad for the first time in almost 30 years," the press service quoted Rostec First Deputy General Director Vladimir Artyakov as saying.

Russia has not exhibited such aircraft abroad since 1994, Rostec said.

The short AK-19 Kalashnikov rifle designed for "5.56mm "NATO caliber common in the world, will also premiere internationally there, it said.

"Rosoboronexport's exposition will include products of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), Russian Helicopters, Ruselectronics, Kalashnikov, High Precision Systems, KRET and other Rostec holdings. The exhibition will be held on November 13-17," the press service said.
