MOSCOW. Nov 15 (Interfax) - Forty Russian citizens evacuated from Gaza on Tuesday have been examined by specialists from the Russian Health Ministry and cleared for a flight to Moscow, the group's departure has been tentatively scheduled for November 16, the Russian health minister's aide Alexei Kuznetsov said.
"Forty Russian citizens have arrived at a base of Russian medical specialists from the Gaza Strip. This includes 16 children and a pregnant woman. All of them have been examined by specialists from the Russian Health Ministry's Federal Center for Disaster Medicine and federal healthcare establishments," Kuznetsov told Interfax on Wednesday.
Patients with non-infectious diseases were provided with necessary drugs, he said.
"All 40 persons were cleared for a flight to Moscow. Their condition was assessed as satisfactory," he said.
The flight of another group to Russia has been preliminary scheduled for November 16, Kuznetsov said.
Russian rescuers and diplomats organized the evacuation of Russian citizens from Gaza on November 12.
A special flight of the Emergency Situations Ministry carrying the first group of 70 Russian evacuees landed at the Moscow Domodedovo Airport late at night on November 13. A ministry flight with the second group of 98 Russian evacuees from Gaza arrived in Moscow on Wednesday.
