MOSCOW. Nov 29 (Interfax) - Russian forces downed Ukraine's MiG-29 and Sukhoi Su-25 jets in the Donetsk People's Republic and destroyed 38 Ukrainian drones in the past 24 hours, the Russian military said.
"The fighter aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces downed a MiG-29 plane of the Ukrainian Air Force and intercepted a HARMS anti-radiation missile near Mezhevoye, Donetsk People's Republic," the Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.
"Air defenses downed a Sukhoi Su-25 jet of the Ukrainian Air Force near Novoolenovka, Donetsk People's Republic," the ministry said.
Thirty-eight Ukrainian drones were destroyed in the DPR, the Lugansk People's Republic (LPR), and the Kharkov, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions in the past 24 hours, it said.
Russian air defenses intercepted 11 HIMARS and Uragan MLRS projectiles in the past 24 hours, the ministry said.
"In total, 544 planes, 255 helicopters, 9,301 drones, 442 anti-aircraft missile systems, 13,687 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,187 MLRS vehicles, 7,205 field artillery weapons and mortars, and 15,746 special military road vehicles have been destroyed since the start of the special military operation," the ministry said.
