Progress MS-23 resupply ship sinks in Pacific

MOSCOW. Nov 29 (Interfax) - The Progress MS-23 resupply ship, which undocked from the International Space Station (ISS) earlier on Wednesday, has ceased to exist and its remains have sunk in the Pacific, Roscosmos said.

"Today, the Progress MS-23 resupply ship, which worked at the ISS for over six months, was deorbited, entered the atmosphere and fell apart. The spaceship's unburned elements fell into the non-navigable waters in the South Pacific," Roscosmos said on Telegram.

Progress MS-23 arrived at the ISS on May 24 with about 2.5 tonnes of cargo.

The next resupply ship, Progress MS-25, will be launched to the ISS from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on December 1.
