Possibility of new meeting in Brussels on normalizing Azerbaijani-Armenian relations being discussed - Aliyev

BAKU. Dec 6 (Interfax) - The possibility of a new meeting in the Brussels format on normalizing Azerbaijani-Armenian relations is being discussed, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said.

"With respect to efforts of President of the European Council Charles Michel, Azerbaijan and me personally have always supported his efforts in finding a long-lasting solution to the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan. There have been several meetings organized by him in Brussels. We are now in the process of discussions about potentially a new meeting," Aliyev said in Baku on Wednesday, while answering questions from participants in the international forum Karabakh: Back Home After 30 Years. As reported, the latest meeting of the Azerbaijani president, the Armenian prime minister and the European Council president was held in Brussels in the trilateral format in July 2023. The next meeting was scheduled for October but did not happen.
