WASHINGTON. Dec 11 (Interfax) - U.S. President Joe Biden has invited Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to meet at the White House on December 12, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said.
The meeting aims "to underscore the United States' unshakeable commitment to supporting the people of Ukraine," a statement on the White House website quoted Jean-Pierre as saying.
In addition, Zelensky will speak at the U.S. Senate on Tuesday at the invitation of Democratic Majority leader Chuck Schumer and Republican Minority leader Mitch McConnell, CNN said.
Additionally, he will meet with House of Representatives Speaker Mike Johnson, the channel said.
