Russian Defense Ministry: 40 combined strikes on Ukrainian airbases, depots conducted over past week with precision-guided weapons, drones

MOSCOW. Dec 15 (Interfax) - Russian forces have conducted 40 combined strikes on the Ukrainian Armed Forces' airbases and weapon, hardware and ammo depots over the past week, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Friday.

"Between December 9 and 15, the Russian Armed Forces conducted 40 strikes on enemy airbase infrastructure, depots, and storage facilities for artillery munitions, weapons and military hardware with precision-guided weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said.

Bases of Ukrainian Armed Forces units, the Azov Regiment (banned in Russia) and the International Legion were struck, too, it said.

"All designated targets were hit," the ministry said.
