Putin calls for high security of Eastern Polygon amid special military operation

MOSCOW. Dec 15 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has called for ensuring a high level of security at the Eastern Polygon amid the special military operation, as the enemy views it as a target.

"I am asking for your attention, the attention of all colleagues working in this area. We have to keep in mind the conditions we live in, the entire country lives in. As you know, the enemy is trying to reach crucial infrastructure elements of the Eastern Polygon. We should remain vigilant," Putin said at a meeting with Russian Railways enterprises and social establishments on Friday.

"Of course, this is a job for law enforcement, the security services and the Russian National Guard in the first instance, but I am also asking you, everyone who works there: you should remain vigilant, considering the conditions we live in," Putin said.
