Russian-S. Korean relations going through hard times, Moscow ready for their normalization - Russian Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. Dec 18 (Interfax) - Russia is ready for the return of its relations with South Korea to the trajectory of a mutually beneficial partnership, the decision is up to Seoul, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko said in an interview with Interfax.

"Relations between Russia and the Republic of Korea, which are currently going through difficult times, were developing in the most constructive fashion, especially in the economy sector, only a few years ago. We also successfully and productively interacted on issues dealing with the Korean settlement. It depends on Seoul whether we will be able to bring cooperation with the Republic of Korea back to the trajectory of partnership beneficial for our countries and peoples. Russia is ready for it," Rudenko said.
