Shoigu: Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost over 383,000 troops killed and wounded

MOSCOW. Dec 19 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost 383,000 troops killed and wounded since the start of Russia's special military operation, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said.

"Since the start of the special operation, the Ukrainian Armed Forces' losses have topped 383,000 troops killed and wounded, 14,000 tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, and armored personnel carriers, 553 planes, 259 helicopters, and 8,500 field artillery systems and multiple rocket launchers," Shoigu said at an expanded Defense Ministry board meeting on Tuesday.

"Ukraine has carried out nine mobilization waves and is continuing a tenth one. It is currently calling up people fit for limited military service," Shoigu said.
