MOSCOW. Dec 19 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the Russian Defense Ministry on Tuesday to familiarize himself with advanced Russian weapons at an exhibition.
Putin went to the Navy booth, which presents the Zefir universal naval robotic system and the Grifon-17 unmanned aerial vehicle, and saw advanced weapons at the booth of the Russian Strategic Missile Forces.
He also visited the booth of the Airborne Forces to see the Groza-04 system for jamming the radio control signal of intelligence and other types of drones, as well as satellite communication stations, Russian-made interception drones, and the Cargo man-portable mortar for assault detachments' reconnaissance groups. Lantset and Kornet munitions, a repeater drone, a drone that jams GPS signals and drone control channels, and Orlan-10 and Orlan-30 reconnaissance drones were also on display.
In addition, the exhibition presents the Bereg system with the Volnorez ECM unit for countering hostile drones, and a robotic platform that delivers explosives of various capacities.
Putin was shown a 3D printed model of a captain's bridge used for personnel training.
The Army booth demonstrates the main types of small arms and drones made in Russia, alongside observation systems and the Desertcross 1000-3 all-terrain vehicle procured by the Armed Forces.
Putin saw the main air-launched weapons of various classes and aircraft at the Air Force booth.
The exhibition shows Russian-made sniper rifles, rounds designed especially for paratroopers, field uniforms, and personal protection equipment.
The booth of the Main Military Medical Department exhibits advanced products, including new medical bags customized for the special military operation, an armored evacuation vehicle with first-aid kits, and ambulances.
