Moscow sees no problem with U.S.-China arms control dialogue resumption, as it does not affect Russian interests - deputy FM

MOSCOW. Dec 22 (Interfax) - The resumption of the U.S.-China dialogue on certain aspects of arms control does not affect Russian interests, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said in an interview with Interfax.

"We do not view the resumption of the dialogue on certain aspects of arms control, suspended several years ago, by Beijing and Washington as a problem. This does not undermine or affect Russian interests," Ryabkov said.

"At least because we have established quite intensive, well-structured and trusting interaction with China on a broad range of international security matters, including arms control, and are fully satisfied with the quality and productiveness of this work," he said.
