Russian army takes control of Maryinka near Donetsk - Shoigu

ST. PETERSBURG. Dec 25 (Interfax) - The Russian Armed Forces have taken control of the town of Maryinka near Donetsk, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said.

"We have liberated the populated locality of Maryinka. It is five kilometers southwest of Donetsk," Shoigu said at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin on Monday.
