Two towns in Russia's Kursk region attacked from Ukraine - governor

VORONEZH. Dec 29 (Interfax) - Kursk region governor Roman Starovoit has reported a Ukrainian attack on the Glushkovo district.

"The Ukrainian Armed Forces have attacked the Glushkovo district on the border. Luckily, there are no casualties. Six shells hit the town of Tyotkino, including one house. Another two houses were hit by fragments. A power transmission line was damaged," Starovoit said on Telegram on Friday.

Electricians will start working as soon as it is safe, he said.

Mortars also shelled the town of Krasnookryabrsky, Starovoit said, adding that no significant damage was done there.
