MOSCOW. Jan 11 (Interfax) - Russian forces have struck two ammo depots and 29 drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Thursday.
"Missile forces, artillery and unmanned aerial assault vehicles of the Russian Armed Forces' contingent hit two ammo depots of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, 119 artillery units at their firing positions, and troops and military hardware in 126 areas," the ministry said.
In turn, air defense downed 29 Ukrainian drones in the Lugansk and Donetsk People's Republics and in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions and intercepted one HIMARS projectile, it said.
"In total, 567 planes, 265 helicopters, 10,609 unmanned aerial vehicles, 447 air defense missile systems, 14,563 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,202 multiple rocket launchers, 7,692 artillery systems and mortars, and 17,310 special military vehicles have been destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation," the ministry said.
