Russian Defense Ministry: 23 group strikes with precision arms, including Kinzhal missiles, drones delivered upon Ukrainian military infrastructure on Jan 6-12

MOSCOW. Jan 12 (Interfax) - The Russian Defense Ministry has reported delivering 23 group strikes with long-range precision-guided weapons, including Kinzhal hypersonic missile systems, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles upon Ukraine's military infrastructure elements over the past week.

"The Russian Armed Forces delivered 23 group strikes with long-range air-launched and sea-launched precision-guided weapons, including Kinzhal hypersonic air-launched missiles, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles, upon Ukrainian military industrial facilities from January 6 to 12, 2024," the ministry said on Friday.

The strikes were targeted at facilities manufacturing, modernizing, and repairing aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, armored vehicles, rocket launchers, and artillery systems, it said.

Russian forces also hit stationing sites of units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, other Ukrainian formations, and foreign mercenaries, it said.

"The objectives of the strikes have been achieved, and all the designated targets have been hit," the ministry said.
