MOSCOW. Jan 18 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov has said he does not expect Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to have contacts with his U.S. counterpart Antony Blinken on the sidelines of the upcoming events in New York.
"Given how this looks in the context of the deeply hostile policy towards Russia pursued by the United States lately, I do not think that such a contact will be possible in principle," Ryabkov said in response to a related question from journalists.
"I have no idea whether Mr. Blinken plans to visit New York on the occasion. We do not have such information," he said.
