NEW YORK. Jan 22 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has arrived in New York for UN Security Council events, an Interfax correspondent reported.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said that Lavrov will attend open debates of the UN Security Council on the Middle East, including Palestine, and the UN Security Council meeting on Ukraine initiated by Russia on January 22-24.
