MOSCOW. Jan 25 (Interfax) - Air defense systems intercepted two Ukrainian rocket projectiles fired by a Vampire multiple rocket launcher over Russia's Belgorod region at around 8:30 p.m., the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"Two rocket projectiles were destroyed by on-duty air defense systems over the Belgorod region," the ministry said on Thursday.
An air defense system was activated over the Borisovka district, Belgorod region governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said.
"An air defense system downed two airborne targets over the village of Krasny Kutok in the Borisovka district. Operational services are clarifying reports about the aftermath on the ground. According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties or damage," Gladkov said on Telegram.
