Kremlin dissatisfied with outcome of UNSC meeting on Il-76 crash - Peskov (Part 2)

MOSCOW. Jan 26 (Interfax) - The Kremlin is dissatisfied with the outcome of the UN Security Council's meeting on the Ilyushin Il-76 crash near Belgorod, which was held on Thursday, as the West did not say a word to condemn the culprits behind this, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"Western countries have not said a word to strongly condemn this horrible terror attack. [...] We have not heard a word of condemnation. From this point of view, of course, not," Peskov told reporters in response to a related question.

"What's happened requires a proper evaluation by the international community," Peskov said.

"This is not the first time Kiev kills its own people," he said.

Reporters asked Peskov whether Russia planned to present evidence to the UN Security Council and other international organizations to prove that the plane was actually downed by Ukrainian forces and Kiev knew that captive servicemen were onboard.

"I have nothing to add for now. Investigators are working, and decisions will be made once the investigators obtain the necessary information," Peskov said.
