MOSCOW. Jan 26 (Interfax) - The so-called deterrence plan worked out by the German Defense Ministry requires in-depth analysis, but Berlin's overt hostility toward Moscow is not news, the Kremlin said.
"It's necessary to take a look at this plan. It's not a secret that Germany has embarked on a path of resolute confrontation with Russia," Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said after being asked by journalists to comment on the German authorities' position and whether retaliatory measures by Russia are possible.
"There is nothing new in this respect, but we will certainly have to carefully familiarize ourselves with such a plan, given this attitude on the part of Berlin," Peskov said.
