Reports alleging Russia's readiness to drop Ukraine's neutrality demand wrong - Peskov

MOSCOW. Jan 26 (Interfax) - Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has denied reports alleging Russia's readiness to drop the demand of Ukraine's neutral status.

Reporters asked Peskov on Friday to comment on reports alleging that Moscow had "signaled the readiness for negotiations on Ukraine." The reports also alleged that the Kremlin might consider dropping "the demand of Ukraine's neutral status" and non-entry into NATO.

"No, this report is wrong. It is completely at odds with the reality," Peskov said.
