MOSCOW. Jan 29 (Interfax) - Russian forces have taken control of Tabayevka in the Kharkov region, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Monday.
"In the Kupyansk sector, active operations by units from the western group of forces resulted in the liberation of Tabayevka in the Kharkov region," the ministry said.
Three attacks by assault groups from the Ukrainian Armed Forces' 30th and 32nd Mechanized Brigades were repelled near Sinkovka in the Kharkov region, it said.
"The enemy lost up to 30 troops, two armored combat vehicles, three pickup trucks, and a Msta-B howitzer," the ministry said.
