Search-and-rescue operation over at collapsed building in Lisichansk - Russian Emergency Situations Ministry

MOSCOW. Feb 5 (Interfax) - Russian Emergency Situations Ministry officers have ended the search-and-rescue operation at a collapsed two-story building in Lisichansk struck by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the ministry press service said on Sunday.

"The search-and-rescue operation at the collapsed bakery in Lisichansk is now over. Russian Emergency Situations officers have rescued ten people. Regretfully, 28 people, including a child, are dead," the press service said.

Lisichansk came under massive attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Saturday, and a two-story house with a bakery inside collapsed.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said that Moscow expects relevant international organizations to condemn Kiev's attack on Lisichansk.

"Russia will inform international organizations. [...] We expect relevant international organizations to promptly and unequivocally condemn the crime of Kiev's militants," she said.
