MOSCOW. Feb 16 (Interfax) - Detectives are investigating the causes of Alexei Navalny's death in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District, says a statement on the website of the Russian Investigative Committee's regional branch.
"The Russian Investigative Committee's Investigative Department in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District has organized a procedural check into the death of Alexei Navalny at Penitentiary No. 3. A series of investigative and operational measures is being taken to establish every circumstance of the incident in a procedure prescribed by law," the statement said.
