Western leaders' statements on Navalny unacceptable, absolutely outrageous - Peskov

CHELYABINSK. Feb 16 (Interfax) - Statements by Western countries' leaders who accused the Russian authorities of Alexei Navalny's death are "outrageous and unacceptable," Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said.

"No statements from medics, no information from forensic experts, no information from the Federal Penitentiary Service, i.e. there is no information. And now these statements coming [from the West]. It is obvious that these are outrageous and absolutely unacceptable statements. They are unacceptable," Peskov told journalists when asked to comment on the accusations made by the European Union leadership against the Russian authorities over Navalny's death.

"I have nothing else to say on this topic," Peskov said.
