Presidential Address to Federal Assembly will set objectives for next 6 years - Putin

MOSCOW. Feb 20 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin's Address to the Federal Assembly will set objectives for at least the next six years, the president said on Tuesday.

"Right now, for me, to be honest, it would also be very important to listen to you in connection with the Address to the Federal Assembly which is being prepared. This is not just a talk, it's about setting the objectives that we strive to develop and achieve the resolution of," Putin said during a forum organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives on Tuesday.

In terms of the political calendar, "these objectives will be set for the next six years, at least. So frankly speaking, I would also expect ideas, strong ideas, from you, so they can be formulated properly, and not only in the Address, but also in our national development program in the short-term," Putin said.

The Russian president will deliver his annual address to the national parliament on February 29.
