MOSCOW. Feb 20 (Interfax) - The U.S. Radio Free Europe (designated a foreign agent in Russia) has been included in Russia's register of undesirable organizations, the Russian Justice Ministry said.
Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) appeared in the list of foreign and international nongovernmental organizations whose operation on Russian territory is deemed undesirable, listed as number 142, according to a Tuesday update on the ministry's website.
The action was taken under a decision of the Prosecutor General's Office to designate RFE/RL undesirable dated February 2 this year.
