KAZAN. Feb 21 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in Kazan for the opening ceremony of the Games of the Future international multi-sport tournament and meetings with a number of foreign leaders.
Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, and Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik are due to attend the event. Putin is expected to have individual meetings with them.
The presidents will see the tournament arenas and attend the Games of the Future opening ceremony.
Putin is also expected to visit the Gorbunov Kazan Aircraft Plant while visiting Tatarstan.
